Biggest weekend yet!

Appreciation Post: In the 13 years since I released my first book, I have participated in more markets, bazaars and fairs than I can count. Some were totally empty and I was lucky if I earned my booth fee back - assuming I sold anything at all. Others were fantastic and busy from start to finish.

The empty shows taught me to keep pushing forward through my doubts and disappointments. The busy shows made it clear that these stories had real value because I saw how so many kids and adults resonated with the messages.

This weekend was different. Saturday was bringing a new event for me, and Sunday would wind the weekend down with one of my favorite local markets.

What I experienced left me feeling overwhelmed, humbled, and completely blown away.

I saw old friends and met longtime readers in person for the first time. I shared stories and handshakes with countless strangers and felt like the luckiest man in the world as they connected with different books and chose to take them home to their loved ones.

Like any event weekend, I quietly prayed for a positive outcome, but what I received was the most successful and overwhelmingly positive weekend of my writing career.

To all who came out, thank you! Your support means the world to me and I can't wait to write more stories for you to enjoy!
